Some Green to be Green

Backed by the Federal Housing Administration (FHA), these new FHA PowerSaver loans will offer homeowners up to $25,000 to make energy-efficient improvements of their choice, including the installation of insulation, duct sealing, doors and windows, HVAC systems, water heaters, solar panels, and geothermal systems. We installed most of the above a few years ago and now have no electric bill.  In fact the utility pays us for excess power that the solar panels on our roof generates.  I encourage you to look into what steps you can take to put a cap on your utility bills and make the environment a tad greener.
